Therapy Services

We provide specialized, life-saving therapy to human trafficking and commercial child sexual exploitation survivors and their families throughout California. We offer Telehealth to remove transportation as a barrier to treatment.

We are the only mental health service provider in our area of operation solely dedicated to treating this population and meeting their very unique needs.

Our Approach

Our clinicians utilize and combine several different approaches depending on the needs of the individual, as we recognize that one size does not fit all. From EMDR to mindfulness practices, our goal is to help our clients reconnect with themselves and those they love.
Because we believe that one of the most powerful tools in the healing process is a strong and healthy support system, we include parents, siblings, and other members of the client’s household in therapy whenever possible and appropriate.

Our Team

We carefully select our small team of licensed and pre-licensed therapists based on their clinical aptitude, heart for this work, and ambition to be the very best at what they do; we have built a unique mentorship-style clinical program where they are guided by their supervisor to activate their most humble, empathetic, and compassionate selves for themselves and their clients. In additional to weekly supervisions, they also attend monthly trainings where they learn more about a wide array of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and theories by presenting them to each other and sharing their very unique perspectives–infusing knowledge they’ve gained from their own cultural backgrounds and their work in other fields (law enforcement, trauma, social services, and more) to provide nuanced knowledge that will help them better connect to their clients. They are then encouraged to practice what they preach in their own lives.
Whether it’s deep breathing during difficult moments, or other grounding techniques, we expect our therapists to ‘walk the talk’.
